My name is Maria J. Alvarez Amador (I also go by MJ). I started out at SBU in the Fall of 2017 as an undergraduate and graduated from our own BME program Summer of 2020. I came back as a graduate student to continue pursuing my research interests that the COVID-19 pandemic notoriously halted; I am sure you can relate as well.
