Yesterday, Sunday 2/9/14 marked 50 years since the Beatles were on the Ed Sullivan Show. On Saturday I went to my cousin’s studio to finish up the mixes of the four songs I recorded in August. Two of the songs sound finished to me. The third song needs some help with guitar volumes and panning issues that sounded better in a previous mix. I was very disappointed after watching the 50th celebration of the Beatles to hear the mix of one of my songs. I really cannot wait for it to be as good as it can be so that I can go to the city to get the songs Mastered and ready for iTunes. I realize now that if I were to go into the music business as a musician that I would have to be executive audio engineer or something for our band, because my music has to sound the way I want it to sound.
