- The control unit will be connected to the aPTT data monitor
- The movement device and the optical sensors will begin searching for clots within the pipes
- The optical sensors will read the optical density of the blood to determine if there is a blood clot.
- Once clotting is found the Ultrasound transducers emit sound waves to destroy the blood clots.
- The ultrasonic waves are emitted from the transducers
- Once the clot is destroyed the movement device is activated once again and the device either returns to its normal position or searches for additional clot.
