Pathways into Medicine (Panel) – April 4th

Hello everyone!

For the upcoming GBM next week (April 4th), the Neuroscience Axis is hosting a panel of outstanding Stony Brook alumni who followed their unique pathways into medicine. The goal of this event is to raise awareness of various medical programs available to pre-med students after graduation. So if you are unsure about your future plans, or you are simply interested in ideas for your gap year,  here you will have an incredible opportunity to discover different ways of transitioning into medicine and healthcare.

The panel will be hosted on April 4th 7-8pm in Life Sciences Seminar Room 038.

Sincerely,

The NeSA

Diversity in Neuroscience

On April 18th, Neuroscience Axis wishes to uphold the standard of Stony Brook University as one of the most diverse schools in the top 100 universities in the nation with a celebration of Diversity in Neuroscience. The goal of our event is to demonstrate the impacts that socioeconomic, racial and ethnic backgrounds play in career advancement. With the support of esteemed Stony Brook faculty and alumni, we hope to demonstrate to current aspiring students the difficulties that may arise along many career paths and the ways to overcome those difficulties and succeed in a number of different fields.
