Project Description

I want to take the audience members through the mind of a girl who experienced sexual assault. How does the victim process her memories and how does public opinions affect her. This show dives us deeply into the consequences of a sexual abuse case.

Artist Statement

I want to create a project that reflects a social topic. At present, many people view things at face value. In this production, I want the audiences to experience the character’s mind in depth. A show should provoke audience members’ thoughts instead of just making them say that “this is a cool show”. This show takes the audiences through the mind of a girl who experienced sexual abuse. I want to focus on the psychological process of a victim, as well as how post-trauma and public opinions hinder and complicate her recovery.
