My final project is inspired by Andreas Gursky, my first photographer research presentation.
After doing research on Andreas Gursky, I realized photography can be applied in daily. It can be very casual and random.
Thus in my final project, I want to explore the possibility of daliy object. Wholesele market is a place that people go very often. For me, I never discovered the beauty of a whole market as every time I just go in and grab the things I needed. After doing this project in Walmart, I find out the stock in market could be a very interesting composition. If I didn’t do this project, I may wouldn’t be able to discover the beauty of market.
Usually, I will go home for the weekend, every time I will buy foods and bring clothes from home to school. Here is my journey
The first thing I will do is put all the frozen food or drink into the fridge.
Then, I will start tidying up the clothes I bring from home.
Hanging the jackets and shirts.
Hide all the bags I used to carry stuff into the closet secret corner.
DONE AND START A TOUGH WEEK AGAIN 🙁
About Portrait
I like taking pictures for my friends, I always want to record their facial expressions, especially smiles. Before doing this project, as a Portrait Photographer, I only focus on their face because I think that is the most obvious part to show the feelings they have at that moment. But in this project, as most of the people are too shy to show off their face, I changed my focusing to the body. I realized body is also an important part to express the emotions. Moreover, the aims of taking portrait have not to be necessary record the feelings, but also capture the beauty of human body. Thus, in this project, I have focused on the photo structure cooperating with human body, trying to blend the environment and human body naturally. A portrait hasn’t to be shoot in the studio officially, it could happen everywhere.
