10) Blurring of rapid motion. long exposure, slow shutter speed to create flat looking water. f/22. 1/4.
4) taken with tripod. Playing around with the settings: predominantly with the exposure and ISO. ISO set a little too high here, washing out the color of the sky and adding grain to the image.
3) Too Low of an ISO and Under exposed. 
1) correct exposure.
9) correct white balance. Faster shutter speed: 1/125.
8) White balance wrong, camera flash causing blue color. Camera filter: Toy camera. specifically manipulated with a lower ISO, to be darker.
7) photo set based on my cameras ISO and white balance.
6) Playing around with settings. used auto white balance setting to capture accurare color of the sky.
14) angles. camera filter: Grainy B&W
15) Angles, from below rather than straight on. camera filter: Fish eye
5) low ISO to create dark, moody image. slightly over exposed, but fixed in Light room.
12) Deep depth of field / small aperture to create focus on the water instead of the fence. Angles: photo taken through fence to create image depth.
11) Shallow depth of field/ wide aperture. Angles: Photo taken from low point so that the objects look big, in an attempt to Amplify the severity of the littering issue plaguing our oceans.
13) Angles: photo taken from inside the slide, from a low angle, rather than straight on.

    I had fun watching your pictures. You got some great ideas and good capture of movement. My favorite picture is the one for correct exposure. I really enjoy the color balance and the details capture in that picture. Keep up the good work. I will look forward for more of your amazing pictures.

  4. Hey Nikki! Your photos came out amazing The crab’s arm with the cigarette has absolutely killed me and is brilliant. I love the vibes of all of the photos and how they are so cohesive with each other with the colors. The “correct exposure” photo is awesome! I’m not sure what that sea creature thing is lol but the colors and the way it pops looks so pleasing. Great job, looking forward to seeing more from you!

  5. I think you did a really awesome job with this task! The setting of your pictures really capture some of the beauty that Long Island is known for, and the sunset you worked with was colorful and pleasing to look at. I specifically like the pictures with the crab claw holding the cigarette, it looks really creative.
