Achromatopsia
Achromatopsia is a condition that is characterized by a partial or total loss of color vision. As a result, people with this condition can only see the colors black, white, and shades of gray. However, there are some colors that people can perceive depending on the severity of this condition. Additionally, this condition also can involve other issues with a person’s vision that include increased sensitivity to light, involuntary back-and-forth eye movements, and reduced sharpness of vision.
