This is a picture I did not take.
In my junior year of high school, I went on a trip with my mom to Asia before I graduated and went to college. We’ve never done anything like this before, and during this trip we went to Thailand, Singapore, and also Malaysia. One of the most memorable experiences that I saw happened in Thailand when we went to see this light show, however, it was unlike any other light show I saw before. To be honestly, before going into this show I was not expecting much, but I came out extremely surprised. The workers set us up on bleachers that overlooked the ocean with about 9 giant angled glass mirrors in front of us. The show happened through the mirrors using projections of light and streams of air and water bursting out from behind. The light effects flowed so freely and clearly that it seemed like someone was drawing on the mirrors right in front of me. I really wanted to capture this moment with a camera because I was so mesmerized with what was happening in front of me, but my phone back then wouldn’t do this show justice.
