My PhD research focuses on the intricate dynamics of blood flow within the heart, working as part of the Dr. Danny Bluestein’s Biofluid Mechanics Research Group (BFRG). I am investigating vortex shedding phenomena and their implications for cardiac remodeling, particularly in the context of Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR). Additionally, I am utilizing Machine Learning techniques, specifically through TensorFlow, to develop robust image segmentation models that can analyze and visualize complex cardiac flow patterns, contributing to improved patient outcomes.
