Our Goal: Design an open perfusion flow chamber with a flexible membrane that provides sufficient shear stress and tensile strain on cultured cells.

Limitations: 

Modeling the design after the parallel plate flow chamber as an entirety has limitations in aspects such as cell analysis. In previous studies, it has been observed that there is machine error in chamber construction that may affect accuracy when observing cellular responses.
