Hi Miri! I love your take on this project. Your use of light is strong. The shadow in the first picture is beautiful and ascents all the different items, drawing your eyes to each one. I also love the last picture. To get that strong red color from the sunset is impressive itself.
Hi Miri! You did a great job on this project. I love the scenes you chose to shoot: these are scenes that are easily overlooked because they are too common in everyday life, but you captured the beauty of these scenes in natural light with precision. Also, you are very good at capturing the different forms of light and shadow. In the first photo, I was impressed by the way you gave the light a shape through the shutters. And the colors of most of the objects in your photos are relatively neutral, with visually comfortable and very harmonious tones. The dark red sunset in the last photo is very expressive.
I really enjoyed your approach on this project (The Subject Of Light). Your use of natural light and the shadows that it creates within your room is so unique to me, and it was very aesthetically pleasing. Your photos seem to feel like they have an organization to them and the order of presentation seems absolutely precise and intentional. It was almost like you were telling a story and indicating the mood of the day as it went along. I am excited to look through more of your work and see how your images are when you compose them with subjects.
