In this piece I created what is known as an “Artist Book”, assembled through cutting hard-cover book covers to establish a base for the book then followed by ‘worn’ pages which I hot glued together and compiled various photos of my dog throughout his lifetime. Each page has a photo and a quote or date to remember a valuable time in his life and my own.

The name of this piece is Stary of an Angel because it represents a story of someone who is not with me no longer but is always there spiritually, and it has been said that angels are like stars in the night sky.

Today I am writing this, December 13, 2020 which is also the day of his birthday
