Vision Statement
Our group is attempting to create a solutional tool for the Zuccaire Gallery that allows them to create their future floor plans much easier. We want to take existing and conceptualized floor plans and transform them into an easily viewable medium that enables artists to visually see their work in those mediums.
We are taking an existing floor plan that the gallery staff has given us and transforming it into a 3D model using Blender (A free and open-source 3D computer graphics software toolset). From here, we are taking this 3D file and creating an equiangular image. This is a flat image that can be converted to a 3d space and the tool we will use to do this is called Seekbeak (A tool for creating collaborative 360 and panoramic images and virtual tours with a mobile or PC device).
This project will be allowing upcoming curators to be able to explore throughout the Zuccaire Gallery and determine where they would like to exhibit their creative art. This allows the gallery to manage their exhibits much more effectively and can ease the burden when it comes to managing events.
