Throughout my academic career, I have met many people, most of which come and go. We get acquainted with each other, complete a task, then part ways and never interact again. Being an introvert, I find it hard to make new friends and to maintain long-lasting relationships, which is why I deeply value the people who do stay in my life. They too have people and things that they value. In this self-directed final project, I did an extension of the portraiture project we had done prior. I photographed 4 friends that I appreciate for being in my life and the things that they value. What is valuable to you?
