Required Qualifications: Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering or other related sciences.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in human study. Background in acoustic hardware and software design. Excellent writing and communication skills.

Brief Description of Duties: The primary purpose of this position as a Postdoctoral Research Associate in Dr. Yi Xian Qin’s lab would be to conduct bone density and quality measurement and evaluation using non-invasive ultrasound, DXA and QCT. The selected candidate will be responsible for:
Bone quality characterization using ultrasound.
Human subjects assessment using DXA, QCT, ultrasound, and FEM.
Data collection and statistical analysis.
Special Notes: This is a full time position. The Research Foundation of SUNY is a private educational corporation. Employment is subject to the Research Foundation policies and procedures, sponsor guidelines and the availability of funding. FLSA Exempt position, not eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA. Internal and external search to occur simultaneously. Occasional travel to conferences may be required.
