The work presented is a figure drawing where the model is only wearing a protective face mask due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The world we’re living in is changing at a rapid pace and soon another layer of protection may be added to the human anatomy in order to survive its eroding environment. Humans have been fascinated with the human figure since cavemen could carve figures on stone. Art history is essentially a mirror of the human experience as well the shared anatomical side of human beings. This is my expression of how I currently perceive the current situation of the world and the new ways in which humanity will evolve.
