The Staller Center’s Paul W. Zuccaire Gallery is proud to present an online Student Mural with the theme of RECKONING, in conjunction with the Faculty Exhibition of the same theme.
In 2020, we are experiencing a pandemic, quarantine, major changes to how we learn, work and live, xenophobia and racial injustice, Black Lives Matter protests, political activism, #MeToo, controversy over monuments, climate change, uncertainty of the future, and more. In light of the challenges the world is facing today, creative responses form a crucial component of expression, activism and hope for the future.
Join the Zuccaire Gallery and fellow students in creating a space for community, hope, change, and healing. Stony Brook University students are invited to submit artwork, photographs, poems or writing.
The mural is organized by order of submission. Submissions are ongoing throughout the semester. Click here for guidelines and a link to submit.
Please be mindful that all submissions must be in compliance with University policies detailed in the Code of Student Responsibility (Code). Any submissions in violation of the Code will be reviewed by the Office of Student Conduct and Community Standards and will be removed pending review.
