The image that I envisioned during my project was the idea of all religions getting along in harmony without persecution. Even though here in America we have freedom of religion there is still clearly persecution of certain religious group specifically Muslims. I’m not saying that we are not allowed to have different belief from each other, that would be impossible to ask for, what I am asking for is that we acknowledge each other’s beliefs and to love each other regardless of our different beliefs. The core beliefs of every major religion is to promote the wellbeing of others and to love your neighbor, and yet we have people who promote their religion bearing messages not of love but of hate and malice towards other groups.

We have seen examples of this in America where groups who claim to be Christians hold extreme prejudice against people of different sexual orientation to the point of enacting violence on members of the LQBTQA+ community. This is not only a problem with Christianity alone, the situation of the Palestinians and the Israelis are still at high tensions because both sides refuse to acknowledge each other’s belief. The solution that I propose to make my future a reality is to love your fellow neighbor as our religions teach us and to follow the golden rule that all religions abide by “Treat others as you would like to be treated.”
