The DarkLight experiment is a search for light Beyond the Standard Model particles. After a successful initial phase at the Jefferson Lab LERF, we are currently designing an experiment to search for a protophobic 5th-force carrier, the X17, motivated by recent anomalies reported in ⁸Be and ⁴He.
