Ernst Haas
(1921-1986)
Ernst Haas was an Austrian-American color photographer. He has worked for LIFE, Look, Vogue and Holiday. I instantly fell in love with Haas’ work because of the beautiful liveliness of the images and the colors. Although I have a great apprecuation for black and white photography, I also really enjoy color photography, and works that contain elements that catch the viewer’s eye. I want to create lively, eye-catching photography.
“Bored with obvious reality, I find my fascination in transforming it into a subjective point of view.”
