For my project I wanted to show how we take nature for granted. Connecting With Our Roots is about caring for plants. I envision a future where we take a break from technology, and realize that we have to take a step back and help what is most important-nature. The best version may not be the best in quality, but helps get my point across. It depicts a young girl near a tree. She holds her hand out and the tree has its roots connecting into her veins.
The depiction I wanted is that like a trees roots, we have our own “roots” flowing through our bodies. The connection is showing that we aren’t that different from nature. We are all alive and use each other to coexist in peace. The next two versions are two ways nature is getting destroyed. Whether its by fire or getting chopped down, we need to protect nature or at least stop the damage we are doing. I wanted the two to stand out from the main one to show that with all the ways we are destroying nature, we aren’t doing as much saving.
