Bio:
Robert Balun received his MFA in Poetry from The City College of New York, where he taught for ten years before joining the Program in Writing and Rhetoric. He is the author of two poetry collections, from The Operating System and Ursus Americanus Press. His poems have appeared in American Poetry Journal, Prelude, Barrow Street, Apogee, Sonora Review, and others.  His first collection of scholarship, An Ethics of Thinking and Making in the Anthropocene: The Aesthetics of Disruption, is forthcoming from Routledge in 2025.  He also teaches poetry workshops with Brooklyn Poets.
