Me on the day of my undergraduate graduation.

Hello! My name is Ryan Helbock and I am a graduate student studying biomedical engineering at Stony Brook University.  While progressing towards a Master’s Degree (M.S.), I also work as a Research Assistant in Dr. Danny Bluestein’s Biofluids Research Group at Stony Brook where I study a procedure known as Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR). For more information about this work, check out the Research tab.

Outside of school I enjoy playing sports. I played 2 seasons with the Stony Brook baseball club in my junior and senior years of undergrad. I also enjoy playing guitar, reading, and skiing.

An action shot!
