The captions narrate a walk taken during social isolation. I chose to use darkened black-and-white photographs instead of color to enhance the mood, since it lent a more ominous tone to the series.

Remembering a Forgotten Dream

Off the beaten path, I find a trail
To enter an empty wood.
In grim anticipation, the ivy watches my descent
And the lonely flowers call out my name.
I search the sky for answers
Only to see the moon staring back in silence.
