Dance Marathon 2017
The second annual Dance Marathon at Stony Brook University will take place on April 8, 2017 from 11am – 11pm. The Marathon will be hosted in the LDS Center in H Quad, and there are several ways students can be involved:
Become a Dancer!
Dancers are an essential part of Dance Marathon. They participate in standing for the duration of the event for kids who can’t stand for themselves. Dancers do not have no dance, but they do have to stand, and can form teams to support one another and can also have their own fundraising campaign pages on DonorDrive. Being a Dancer means making a difference: For the Kids! Registration is now open.
Sponsor a table!
While Dance Marathon is one huge party, its primary function is that of a fundraiser. If you or your student organization would like to donate items or services to sell at the event, please contact us at sbuforthekids@gmail.com
Donate!
Even those who can’t attend the Marathon are able to contribute to Cohen Children’s through donation on DonorDrive. Donations can be made directly to a dancer/participant, team or to the event itself.
