“ENTRAPMENT is a portrait of my partner and me. His hands encompass my eye, with his symbolic blues confining my reds. This painting is the first in a pair, the second depicting my hands, enveloped in red, surrounding his blue-toned eye. These works were influenced by a phrase he often says to me; “I’m trapped by your love.”
