OCEARCH Shark Tracker

OCEARCH worked with the School of Marine and Atmospheric Sciences Southampton Marine Station to search for sharks in our local waters. The data collected is used in OCEARCH’s Shark Tracker database, which shares real-time data, inspires current and future generations of explorers, scientists, and stewards of the ocean, and enables leading researchers and institutions to generate previously unattainable data. OCEARCH has completed 28 expeditions, worldwide, as of April 2017.
