Renée was born in Watertown Connecticut and received her B.S. in Chemistry from Southern Connecticut State University in 2021 with a specialization in environmental chemistry. She double minored in Mathematics and Honors Interdisciplinary. She continues her academic career at Stony Brook University as a Ph.D. student in Atmospheric Chemistry under the advisement of Dr. Shepson. Her current research projects within the Shepson lab focuses on (in no particular order):
- The pursuit of minimizing uncertainties for greenhouse gas emission rate determination for Philadelphia, PA and other parts of the Northeast corridor through ALAR.
- Greenhouse gas quantification focusing on CH4, looking at the emission ratio between CH4/CO2 within the Northeast corridor and beyond.
- Processing and analysis of Seawolf R/V data, using the NE corridor tower network to analyze individual cases of interest.
