            • Teaching Assistant for Mindfulness Stress Based Management in Medicine – A biological approach to meditation

            • Writing in the Profession (developed a professional portfolio online, researched and presented on medical writing, practiced writing in different genres in the workplace, and gained professional skills)
            • Personal essay writing (created and published a multimodal social activism project, “Project BEaUtifull,” practiced analyzing and writing creative nonfiction on an online e-portfolio, fiction, memoir, and essays, as well as studied contemporary authors)
            • Internship in The Humanology Project (focused on “destigmatizing mental illnesses through writing,” advocated the importance of patient perspective, and stood up against defining a person by their illness)
            • Independent study with Dr. Sharma called ‘Empowering Each Other’ (local and international students interviewed on unvoiced topics such as body image differences among the countries, writing and how it impacts education, etc. to share ideas across campus and teach each other, as well as learn together)
            • Writer and Blogger for Translating Success (embraced challenges with an open mind while striving for work-life balance)

          • Completed anthropology courses that consisted of: basic understandings of archaeology, biological anthropology, and ancient African civilizations
