At the beginning, we wanted to focus on the similarities and differences of the old silk road and new “One Belt One Road” policy, but from the several communications with the group members, we thought it was not a suitable idea, and we had lots of brain-storming  and discussions after classes, we finally decided our topic- How the old Silk Road influenced the traditional Chinese 4 classics, especially in Han and Tang dynasties? Because Han and Tang Dynasty is the peak of Chinese culture exchange, we want to use these representatives to show the change of silk road from the past to now.
