Information, Talks, and Publications about Atmospheres
Welcome back! The Fall 2013 semester officially begins on Monday, August 26.
The first Topics in Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences (TAOS) seminar will take place onWednesday, August 28, at 12:00 noon in Endeavour Hall 120. Professor Michael Rawlins from the Department of Geosciences at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, will present a seminar entitled, “Expected Future Changes in Air Temperature and Precipitation Across the Northeast United States as Projected by Regional Climate Models. ” All are welcome to attend. First year graduate students, please remember to sign the attendance sheet located on the coffee table in the back of the room.
The first Oceans and Atmosphere Colloquium this semester will take place on Friday, September 6. Additional details will be provided in next week’s newsletter.
The first Friday Weather Discussion for this semester will take place on August 30 at 3:00 p.m. in Endeavour Hall 139. Topic to be announced on day of discussion.
