This week’s Topics in Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences (TAOS) seminar will take place onWednesday, April 16, at 12:00 noon in Endeavour Hall 120. Dr. Michael Alexander from NOAA’s Earth System Research Laboratory in Boulder, CO, will present a seminar entitled “Moisture Sources for Heavy Precipitation in the Western US During Winter.” Light refreshments will be served. All are welcome to attend a Physics Department Colloquium on Global Warming on April 15 at 4:30 p.m. in Harriman Lecture Hall. Professor Brad Marsdan from the Physics Department at Brown University will present a seminar entitled, “The Quantum and Fluid Mechanics of Global Warming.”
The Friday Weather Discussion will take place on April 18 at 4:30 p.m. in the Meteorology Laboratory, Endeavour Hall 139. Topic to be announced on day of discussion.
