The goal of my artwork is to transport the viewer into a fantasy world and introduce them
to some of my own original fantasy characters. My art is largely centered around my copious
amount of interests which include my pets and a variety of fantasy based media such as books,
movies and tv-shows. These interests stem from childhood where I read books at every waking
moment and would project myself into these fantasy worlds. I would sketch various animals,
creatures, and mer-people and these designs were fueled by not only the books that I read, but
my weekends where I would be out on the water. My works usually include themes of
hybridization in which I mesh human features and characteristics with that of an animal. The
resulting art is that of my fantastical figures and their stories.
