Through my educational, leadership and many outreach activities, I have since formulated my career aspiration to work as a professional in the industrial field of Biomedical engineering. My desires to address biomedical challenges creatively, the urge to learn more and to share my knowledge are perfectly suited to this profession.

The final year of my undergraduate college, my accomplishments and dedication brought me the opportunity to study abroad and finish my thesis project in University College Cork, Ireland. I was awarded a scholarship and honored to be amongst the top 15% in the University to be selected for the program.

I consciously try to develop a well-roundedsc_0176d personality with adequate leadership skills. I am trained as a classical dancer in Bharathanatyam, and also am a keen singer, having learnt Indian classical music.  Apart from academics, I involved myself in a wide array of community service activities by volunteering in a Non-Governmental Organization that offers comprehensive community development services to the children of sex workers.  My escapade in this area was truly transformational and extraordinary, as it provided me a chance to interact closely with youngsters whose courage and capacity for joy impressed me immensely. Their smiles and laughter were pure, even as they battled very significant personal and emotional trauma. This experience instilled in me a deeper drive to carry out research in the area of biomedicine and position myself so that I can develop new techniques that could be made available to the mass population with ease of availability
