This semester I am taking a Mechanics of Structures and a Finite Element Analysis class, in which besides learning theoretical methods I will be learning to use Abaqus and HyperMesh to conduct FEA. I plan to use this learning experience toward designing and analyzing a composite bicycle frame that I intend to manufacture with the help of some friends at school.
