Robert Adams- PechaKucha

The Place We Live “Longmont, Colorado” (1979)
Robert Adams. Eden, Interstate 25, Colorado, 1968.

For this assignment, I wanted to focus on landscape/nature photography since that is what I am interested in focusing on in my own projects. I wanted to explore the different takes on it, and found the photographer Robert Adams, who’s work I loved! He focuses a lot on his surroundings and photographs landscape seen on a daily basis. A lot of nature photographers I found during my research, traveled to exotic places and shot pictures of landscapes I don’t see on the daily, but Adam’s pictures are more realistic and simple.

I would definitely recommend checking out his photography books, he has a lot of them published, and watching his interviews, as he is a great a speaker and the way he talks about photography makes it that much more interesting!

If you would like to read more about his life you can click here and if you would like to see some of his photographs and my presentation, you can click here.

Enjoy!
