Positron Emission Tomography (PET)

My current research has been focused on utilizing Gate simulation to model PET scintillation crystals. Gate, an advanced opensource software which can be used to model medical imaging, is used for the development and simulation of new PET detector geometries. Seen above is an example simulation of a rotating PET detection system designed in Gate version 8.2.
