Yes, a public DoIT Announcements or a public DoIT System Status group might be better if we want to get real specific.
If you post just to all company it will get buried.
I’d post it to a public DoIT group and share it out to All Company and other groups. Users who see it in All Company might notice that a public DoIT group has been created and then join it.
I love this idea and will be using it in my class in the Spring. Does the recipe allow for posting to specific groups? In my case I would want to post to the CDT450 group in Yammer.
It nicely shows all the groups you belong to, you select the group and setup the post message — BAM — super easy to use.
