My name is Richard von Rauchhaupt and I am a Programmer / Analyst for the Department of Information Technology (DoIT) at Stony Brook University. In my role I am responsible for administering and maintaining our Drupal environment which hosts sites like http://it.stonybrook.edu; career.stonybrook.edu; and http://ucolleges.stonybrook.edu

I also am contributing to the http://you.stonybrook.edu project and am actively looking at how we can best allow you to create, present and deliver your Stony Brook experience through the web.

Throughout my time here at Stony Brook I have had the opportunity to work with some very talented people across different departments and teams. I consistently hear feedback from my colleagues about the challenges and hurdles involved in building and maintaining a strong web precence for their particular project. It is my hope that through increased communication and collaboration that we can create new strategies to mitigate some of the hassle and hopefully focus on delivering rich, rewarding and useful web experiences for our students, faculty & staff.
