My research interests include synthetic biology, genetics, pathology, system’s biology, computational biology, molecular neurobiology, and immunology. Currently, I am a member of Dr. Gabor Balazsi’s Synthetic Evolutionary Dynamics lab, where I am conducting independent research. My research involves creating two different inducible gene circuits that will produce unique, exogenous proteins in yeast cells. The goal is to observe their interactions with each other and within the foreign system. Parallel to this wetlab work, I am also creating a computational modeling to characterize the gene circuits and protein interactions within the system.
