During the 2014-15 academic year:
- celebrated SINC Sites 30th Anniversary with DoIT OPS – Desktop Engineering group
- 3,253 courses received support (over 30,400,000 views per semester in Blackboard)
- 22,200 unique logins for SINC Sites (Public Computer Labs managed by TLT)
- Provided 4,167 technology consultations
- Scheduled 5000+ echo recordings (over 800,000 views)
- Captioned ~40 videos for Courses for ADA compliance
- Scheduled 322 meeting times (academic classes, workshops) that require computer classrooms (SINC Sites)
Every year, Team members work together to support:
Student Employment:
- Recruit, Hire, Supervise, Develop, & Mentor 150 student employees a year.
- Each Spring , TLT holds Info sessions for students who are interested in working in a SINC Site…~300 students attended.
- 185 students were interviewed by staff and TLT student leaders….150 hired
- 20 Professional Development opportunities for student employees each semester….all students must take 3 workshops a semester.
- Assessments of each workshop so student demonstrate what they learn.
- Formal evaluation process for all consultants for raises. All evaluations are kept in student employee’s file.
- TLT Student Leadership Program (Spring, 3 credits)
Operations:
- Schedule student employees to cover 11,168 shift hours a week each semester
- Manage all supplies for 18 SINC Sites & ~70 smaller departmental/graduate student labs as well as 62 printers to support Print From Anywhere.
- Expanded hours so that the Melville Library SINC site is open 24 hours/5 days a week
- Frey Hall Testing Center began it’s pilot stage. In Spring 2015 – 600 students took Midterm & Final exams for MAT 125 & LIN 110.

- Presentation and Hands on Assistance at all Freshmen Orientation Sessions (Winter & Summer)
- Technology orientation for all ADV 101 Fall/Spring classes (in class visits)
- Organized TEDxSBU (2nd year) – 264 attendees / over 940,000 views
