Due to their improved image quality and real-time readoutcapabilities, Active Matrix Flat Panel Imagers (AMFPI) have become the new standard in many areas of medical imaging. As hospitals convert their detectors to digital technology, research to improve current AMFPI technology is becoming more important. We’re currently doing work to improve low-dose x-ray imaging via SHARP-AMFPI.
