- The chance of having irregular heartbeat, increases with age (Schnabel et al., 2009, #).
- It is estimated that approximately 12.1 million people in the US will have Atrial fibrillation, which the most common type of Arrhythmia (Christensen, 2021).
- As of 2011 to 2018, lately there’s been a rise in irregular heartbeat for people ages 35 to 64, compared to those the age of 65 to 84 (Christensen, 2021).
