Great series! There is a great amount of variance in this series despite the common concept; the diversity of the focus and the placement of the subject creates a lot of interesting differences between the photos. Even having the subject on the left side of the frame instead of the right creates a different feeling. Also, the gradients in the photos are really nice to look at and the depths of the blacks create an interesting effect where they create abstraction in the images instead of just being shadows.
