Camera Task: Angle of View (Perspective)
From exploring many different perspectives and angles for this task I discovered that perspective can really make a big difference in how a certain subject looks or the feel of the picture. The symmetrical perspective of the first picture gives it a formal and slightly scientific feel.
This perspective gives the picture a more surreal mood.
This last perspective gives the picture a more snapshot feel.
Camera Task: Depth of Field
Shallow depth of field
This picture is taken with the aperture set at F3.5.
Deep depth of field
This picture is taken with the aperture set at F14.
Note: I used an external flash unit for these two pictures since this was shot indoor and the light wasn’t optimal.
Camera Task: Shutter Speed
This picture us taken with a fast shutter speed of 1/500. I was able to capture and freeze the motion of the car by using a fast shutter speed.
This picture is taken with a slow shutter speed of 1/60. Due to the slow shutter speed, the car in the picture is blurred.
Camera Task: White Balance
This picture is taken with the white balance setting on auto.
This picture is taken with the white balance setting set at cool-white-fluorescent.
This picture is taken with the white balance setting set at Sodium Vapor lamp.
This picture is taken with the white balance setting set st High temp. Mercury-vapor.
