Postdoctoral Researchers

Individuals interested in both methods development and/or empirical analysis are encouraged to contact Krishna Veeramah to discuss possibilities.

Graduate Students

Potential graduate students interested in joining the lab should a) contact Krishna Veeramah to discuss where they might fit in within the lab’s research goals and b) apply to the appropriate Graduate School Program. Currently the lab is part of the Doctoral Program in Ecology and Evolution, the Doctoral Program in Anthropological Sciences and the Graduate Program in Genetics.

Undergraduates

SBU undergraduates should feel free to contact Krishna Veeramah if they are interested in gaining wet or dry lab experience in the areas of population or evolutionary genetics.

 PHD POSITION

The lab is actively looking for a graduate student to begin in 2025. Though all applications must go through the appropriate program, potential applicants are strongly encouraged to contact Krishna Veeramah before applying.

 

POSTDOC POSITION

The Veeramah Lab, in collaboration with the Wund Lab at The College of New Jersey, seeks a postdoctoral researcher to work on a 3-year, NSF-funded research project investigating the early stages of ecotype formation and ecological speciation in four recently-established populations of threespine stickleback fish.
