Eliot Porter was an American, born in 1901 and died in 1990 he was very well known for his rich vivid images of photography and his interested in nature started at a very young age. In the 1940s after committing to the field of photography he switched from black and white film to color film. He published many photography books after that and one of the most well-known ones being In Wildness Is the Preservation of the World (1962). I was really interested in his photography mostly because of the nature and color aspect I really hope to be able to produce beautiful nature art like him as well. You can really see the details and pop in the photos from the color.
