Let’s get right to it Seawolves! There is a ton of weather happening this week and all “players” are equally important. A potent cold front has moved offshore and stalled off the east coast, bringing with it much cooler weather. Clouds will dominate the skies for the next couple of days. The stationary front off the east coast will slowly start to back its way into our area bringing with it the increase chance of rain tonight and into tomorrow morning. Winds will be on the increase tonight as well and continue into the majority of the weekend. Weather is looking to be very unsettled and highly unpredictable in the near future. With strong hurricane Joaquin pounding the Bahamas, all eyes are on the trough digging down into the southeast and the strong high pressure area over Quebec. Models have been all over the place with the eventual track of Joaquin, some bring it into the mid-Atlantic coast and others bring it out to sea. Regardless, and this cannot be stressed enough, heavy rains and coastal flooding are still a big concern whether or not Joaquin makes landfall.
