A Freeze Warning is still in effect this morning as temperatures continue to remain unseasonably cold throughout the Northeast. With the passing of an upper-level trough this weekend, an upper-level ridge is starting to set up over the area and a surface high has positioned itself over the Virginias. This pattern will keep temperatures low for today, but once the high pressure system begins moving towards the East, the winds will shift from northwesterly to southwesterly, introducing warm, southern air into our area and bringing temperatures up into the 60s. No precipitation is expected over the next few days.
